Outotec is looking for a Technology Support Expert to join Outotec’s Global Filter & Thickener Technology Support team, providing technical support for Outotec’s dewatering equipment in the mining, metals and chemical industries.The location can be either Espoo or Lappeenranta.

• Provide Technology support in filter & thickener technologies with focus on EIA (T2 level)
• Provide remote support, including troubleshooting of connected equipment’s as well as remote assessments and condition monitoring
• Provide Technical support for filter & thickener optimizer products
• Contribute to and assist development of digital products and services related to Filter & Thickener technologies.
• Contribute to and assist with the management of a technology knowledge database.
• Support the development of internal technical training resources, training content, training plans and execution in co-operation with Market Area services
• Support the development of Market Area technology competencies
• Provide expertise to technical claim handling as requested
• Provide input to technical documentation, such as manuals, spare part catalogues and maintenance instructions & recommendations
• Manage Quality, Environment , Health and Safety according to Outotec guidelines

• Engineering degree or approved/professionally recognised equivalent, in area of EIA and/or digitalization
• Knowledge and understanding of data collection methods and analysing
• Basic skills of PLC programming, all other platforms are benefit
• Knowledge and understanding about filtration and/or thickener equipment and processes
• At least few years of relevant industry experience after graduation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong spoken and written Finnish and English
• Strong customer focus
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines
• Ability to travel, also internationally
• Ability to interpret and apply various: in-house, project, national, and international standards
• Ability to read, interpret and apply technical drawings and specifications
• Ability to live and promote service culture
• Willingness to learn something new every day
• Minimum Silver Level technology certification
